Your Local Colorado Elk Hunting GuideS
The McKee family homesteaded in Durango, Colorado in the late 1800’s.
We raise registered Angus cattle and and raise crops for feed. When
not working on the ranch, time is spent scouting and, or hunting
elk, mule deer and turkeys. Our livelihood has been composed of
hard work and passion for the game animals that we hunt.
We will put out 110% effort to hunt hard and find game animals
for you. We will leave camp an hour before daybreak and will return
at dusk hunting all day long. If it were easy for each of us to
get an elk every year we wouldn’t be interested in going hunting.
Colorado Elk Hunting is physically demanding and one of the most
challenging sports around. You should be skeptical about an outfitter
who offers a guarantee to get an elk. We do not offer any guarantees,
but with our combined experience, local eye and logistical support
we sure will improve your odds.

migration routes due to the knowledge passed onto him by his
father and grandfather 34 years ago. His family has hunted
in this area since 1876.
