2012 Hunting Dates & Prices for guided Colorado elk hunts

Deluxe Fully Guided Colorado Elk Hunt
$3,900.00 per person

*Travel to base camp by horse. Travel to various hunting regions by horse. Even though horses are used, the client must be in good physical condition to hike steep terrain at 10,500 ft. Expect to hunt by foot for 3-5 hours a day.

Six days - Five Nights

Maximum Number of Hunters Per Season in Camp: 6  (We provide an exclusive & quality experience)

This is an all inclusive hunt (guides and horses provided). Our base camp is very comfortable. You provide your personal gear and sleeping bag. Sturdy cots are also provided. One guide will be provided for two hunters everyday! Hearty suppers and breakfasts will be served except in the spike camp. Lunch items will be provided for you to pack a lunch as big as you want. There is no extra charge for packing game. We provide assistance in dressing game and making sure the meat is properly cared for. We may spike camp out for two to four nights (no horses in spike camp).

Length of Horseback Ride into Guided Camp: Varies 1 to 3 hours depending on which trailhead we start from (dependant on snow level). Archery and muzzle loaders walk to spike and base camp.

Items not included in the cost of fully guided hunts:

• Taxidermy (variable)
• Game processing (estimated at $250)
• Shipping of meat (variable)
• Elk Hunting License
  - Elk Bull - $554.00 + Habitat Stamp
  - Cow Elk - $354.00 + Habitat Stamp
  (non-resident tags)

Contracts:

A contract will be sent to you, along with a medical information form and waiver of liability after we recieve a 50% deposit. All three of these documents must be completed and returned to officially book a spot in camp.

How do I pay?

Payment & Cancellation Policy: Hunting dates will only be reserved when a $500.00 non-refundable deposit is received in our office. A contract will be sent when we receive 50% of total cost of hunt. Full payment is due by August 1st for all hunting trips. Refunds will only be given when a written notification is received in our office ninety days prior to hunt start date. A cancellation fee of 50% of your deposit will be retained by us. Unsuccessful applicants for limited license drawing will be given a full refund.

Gratuities are not included, however it is customary to reward the head guide with 10% to be divided among the staff at the end of the trip. Checks are accepted.

All clients are required to complete and return a health information form (please include height and weight; restrictions may apply), a signed release of liability and a signed contract.
